HAVE YOUR SAY! Auckland Council - Signs Bylaws

Auckland Council and Auckland Transport have jointly drafted new region-wide signage bylaw which will be open for public feedback from Wednesday 3 September to Friday 3 October 2014.
The new bylaw will regulate display of signs that are on, or visible from roads and other public places. Also affects vehicle and trailer signage. Go to the link for more info.

Pahi Histroic River Cruises LABOUR WEEKEND 2014

Join us on a 4 hour voyage discovering the beautiful native bush, Idyllic Bays and the magnificent Kauri of the Otamatea.


We cruise from Pahi through the Arapaoa River and into the Otamatea River, passing places rich in history such as Puriri Point, Batley, and Tanoa, to the historic Ranganui Rail Bridge before returning to Pahi.

KOAST - Kerikeri Open Art Studios Trail

More than 45 Kerikeri artists will open their studios to the public for the first time.
Kerikeri Open Art Studios Trail Inc. invites the public to visit artists’ workshops, view and purchase art, talk to artists about their work.
The Trail will feature Artist-in-Residence studios plus three group venues for local artists without home studios, including guest artists from around Northland.
The KOAST Art Trail Guide will be available on our website and at local sponsoring businesses in early October.

Mangonui Lions Fun Run and Walk

Mangonui Lions Club are holding a Fun Run and Walk on Sunday 2nd November as a fundraiser for their community projects, and to promote health and fitness in the community.

The main events are 6km and 8km from Mangonui School to Coopers Beach, via Historic Mangonui Village and Mill Bay, with entry fee of $10 taken on the day. As a Fun Run and Walk no times will be recorded, and spot prizes provided by local businesses will be given away drawn by lot.

The short 2km for the children will be along Coop
